Approve Resolution No. 2015-060 Establishing a Moratorium on Consolidation Plats and Lot Line Adjustment Plats to Allow for Amendment to Rapid City Municipal Code 16.08.100
Summary:
At the June 1, 2015 meeting, the Common Council authorized staff to draft a moratorium to prevent consolidation and future lot line adjustment plats until such time as R.C.M.C. 16.08.100 is amended.  This resolution would place a moratorium on receipt or approval of applications for consolidation and future lot line adjustment plats, when those applications include unplatted property and/or when subdivision improvements are required and no exception has been obtained.  This moratorium would permit consolidation plats and lot line adjustment plats only when the property has already been platted and when there are no outstanding subdivision improvements that need to be constructed.
